Our cepage vinegar comes from a selection of the best Merlot grape varieties. The name Merlot comes from the mockingbird, with plumage and humor as black as its grapes. An ideal grape variety for a sharp vinegar, made in the respect of the Orleans vinegar tradition. Thanks to its aromas of red fruits, this round and delicate vinegar will enrich the fragrance of your marinades. Thanks to its slow fermentation of 3 weeks in oak barrels, it offers this unique taste, heritage of a centuries-old know-how.

Awarded "Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant" by the French State for its unique know-how, Martin-Pouret is supplying prestigious luxury hotels and Michelin-starred restaurants with its vinegars crafted in oak barrels and its refined mustards "à l’ancienne".
